A popular, free taxi service for late night revellers is to continue for another year.

Gosling's Limited has agreed to sponsor 'Let Us Drive', an anti-drink drive campaign by CADA, for the third year in a row.

The service has taken nearly 4,500 people home safely over the past three-and-a-half years.

Anthony Santucci, chairman of CADA, Encouraging Responsible Alcohol Behaviour, said yesterday: "I am pleased to announce today that Gosling's Limited has agreed to sponsor this important, life-saving service for the third consecutive year. Their generous support is deeply appreciated."

He continued: "It is impossible to tell how many lives have been saved since the service began in May 2007 but together with our sponsors we will continue to provide an alternative to drinking and driving."

Charles Gosling, managing director of Gosling's Limited, said his company was pleased to be able to help "ensure the residents of Bermuda don't drink and drive".

Let Us Drive operates every Friday night between 3.15 a.m. and 3.45 a.m. outside of the LOM Building on Reid Street. The service provides taxis free of charge. For more information, visit cada.bm.
