Bacardi renews support for Friday night free taxis

CADA Chairman Anthony Santucci thanked Bacardi and said: "As many of you know, the service is designed to take people home so that they don't have to drink and drive.

"Let Us Drive is a free service that operates every Friday night between 3.15 a.m. and 3.45 a.m. from outside the LOM building on Reid Street.

"Our goal at CADA remains the same, to encourage responsible alcohol behaviour such as not drinking and driving. We are delighted that through Bacardi Ltd.'s support, we are able to continue this service for all residents of Bermuda."

Michael Brennan, Managing Director of Bacardi said: "Bacardi Ltd. is pleased to sponsor this important, life saving service again this year.

"We are proud to have been associated with Let US Drive since its inception in 2007 and from that time the service has taken home nearly 4,000 people.

"We could never know how many lives have been saved as a result of this important community service therefore Bacardi Ltd. remains committed to ensuring there are alternatives to drinking and driving available in Bermuda."
