Mirrors programme graduates to be hosted at Brown Bag Lunch tomorrow
Premier Ewart Brown will host young people who have been through Government's Mirrors programme in the latest Brown Bag Lunch tomorrow.
The Brown Bag Lunch idea first started in July 2007 and was an extension of the Premier's Thursday Open Door Policy. It takes place on the Cabinet lawn.
The Premier said: "When I became Premier two years ago the Mirrors Program was my first order of business. That's how important it was to me personally, Minister Dale Butler will tell you.
"I couldn't be more pleased that 60 young people have now experienced Mirrors and have positively transformed their lives. I can't wait to talk to some of those graduates on Thursday to learn from them how we might magnify the programme's capacity without diluting the impact."
Mirrors is a programme that centres on intervention for young people at risk.
