The Progressive Labour Party has pledged to give the public the chance to help shape its agenda.

The party has launched PLP Listens, where the public can suggest policy ideas that can be carried out the second half of its five-year term in government.

David Burt, the Premier and party leader, said: “We want to hear feedback from voters on what we’ve done well, where they feel we can improve, and what they would like to see as a focus for the remainder of our term.

He told the public: “This is your opportunity to help shape the party’s priorities for the remainder of our term.

“Our caucus has started a half-term policy review, but I also want to hear from the voters who put us here where you most want us to focus our energy.”

Mr Burt said: “We believe that good ideas can come from anywhere in the community.”

Ideas can be submitted to www.plp.bm/listens and three town hall meetings will be held in April
