BEC recruits Hayward
The Bermuda Employers Council (BEC) has announced the addition of Patrice Hayward to its list of training presenters.
Martin Law, BEC executive director, said: "The BEC is constantly searching for course presenters for its training offerings who can deliver relevant content in a professional and engaging way.
"In light of this, we are very pleased to add to our list of presenters Mrs. Patrice Hayward. Training remains important for employers, particularly in tough economic times, to ensure that businesses are best placed to deliver their services by having trained and skilled staff."
From April through June 2010, Mrs. Hayward will deliver a number of one-day courses at the BEC, including 'Putting the Customer in Service' on April 29 and June 7, 'Corporate Image Development' on April 8 and June 8, 'Dynamic Communications' on April 15 and June 9 and 'Impressive Superior Management' on June 10.
"We prefer to use locally based trainers wherever possible when our quality criteria are met and I think we have found a gem in Patrice," said Mr. Law. "We at the BEC remain committed to delivering training that meets the needs of our members and Patrice will fill a niche for us here.
"She is a natural at this work and brings a passion and commitment that is infectious. Public and motivational speaking and excellence in customer service are abiding passions for her.
"She has already delivered customer service training for us to over 600 tradesmen under the NTB's certification programme and has been enthusiastically received."
Mrs. Hayward is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Atlanta as well as an author and playwright, who has written a novel and six Bermuda-based plays over the past 20 years and is in the process of completing her second book.
