Axis Global Accident and Health, a division of Bermuda-based Axis Capital Holdings Ltd., said Giles Allen has been named senior vice-president, International Accident & Health Insurance Operations.

Mr. Allen is based in London, where he will manage the international insurance operations of Axis Global Accident & Health, whose international products include personal and business travel accident programmes for employer groups, as well as accident and specialty health cover for associations, affinity groups, financial institutions and other organisations. Before joining Axis, Mr. Allen was executive director of the Accident & Health Division at Willis Ltd.'s Global Markets International for five years.
