Armed robbers hold-up a gas station
Robbers brandishing what appeared to be a firearm and a bladed article held up Boaz Island Marine & Service Station.
The two men, believed to be in their late teens or early 20s, made off with a quantity of cash.
The incident took place around 8.55 p.m. on Wednesday. Staff were inside the Sandys business at the time.
"Details about what occurred are unclear at this time; however it appears that two unknown men entered the gas station, one brandishing what appeared to be a firearm and the other brandishing a bladed article," a Police spokesperson said.
"They stole a quantity of cash before making good their escape. There were no reported injuries."
The men were described as brown skinned, 5' 7" tall, and of slim build.
One was wearing a tan, long-sleeved shirt and red pants, the other was dressed completely in black.
