Each of the nine AME Churches has been having a series of Annual Women Day events since last month.

Tomorrow it's the turn of Women at the Mother Church, St. John's in Bailey's Bay.

Last Sunday the concentration was at Allen Temple, Somerset. The theme of events leading up the three services was "Women of the Bible," and on Sunday "When Women Pray."

Guest preacher was the Rev. Dr. Joan L. Wharton, pastor of Mt. Zion AME Church in Baltimore County, USA.

Behind the pulpit is the Worship Leader Sis. Jennifer Bascome.

She was co-Chairperson with Sis. Dauphine Dickerson of the Women' Day Committee.

On the left is Dr Wharton and on the associate pastor of Allen Temple, Rev. Dr. Emilygail Dill, whose husband the Rev Howard Dill is pastor of Allen Temple.

The singing was led by a specially trained Women's Day Choir under Sis. Madree Musson.
