Bank of Butterfield saw its shares rise by 20 cents to $17.80 and BF&M shares gained 50 cents closing at $7.00.
The index closed at 1,862.35, up 5.91 points or 0.32 percent on a volume of 3,299 shares worth $51,769.50.
