Bermuda Stock Exchange Index down yesterday.

Bank of Bermuda closed down 12.5 cents at $18.75 on volume of 1,903 while Argus dropped 12.5 cents to close at $11.75 on volume of 900.

The BSE Index fell down 2.12 points to 1,044.42 on volume of 10,129 with a value of $100,838.53.

Bank of Butterfield gained 25 cents to close at $11.50 on volume of 1,000, BF&M was unchanged at $7 on volume of 5,741 and Bermuda Commercial Bank held at $5.125 on volume of 585.

Bermuda Home preferred announced a dividend of 20 cents per share payable October 31 to shareholders of record October 17.
