Clarence Nicole Simmons, 27, of Park Lane, admitted charges of speeding, not having a valid driver's licence, and lying to Police.
Sgt. Earl Kirby, prosecuting, told Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis that on April 14, Police clocked Simmons at 54 kph.
Simmons told Police that he was Wayne Scott of Khyber Pass, Warwick. When a check revealed he was not Scott, he told Police: "I didn't want to go off the road.'' Mr. Francis fined Simmons a total of $630 for the offences.
