Jewellery stolen
daylight break-in at a Scott's Hill Road, Sandys residence.
The complainant said he returned home around 7 p.m. on Monday and found someone had forced their way into the house through a window.
The culprit allegedly removed cash from a briefcase, as well as an amount of men's gold jewellery from an upstairs room.
Meanwhile, a wallet containing cash was allegedly removed from a rented cycle on Monday when the owner left it in the parking lot at Warwick Long Bay.
The complainant said the wallet was secured in a storage area, but when he returned from the beach around 12.30 p.m. he realised it had been removed.
Another wallet was allegedly emptied at a residence on Suffering Lane in St.
George's.
The complainant said he left the wallet in a room with an insecure door around 12.30 p.m.
When he returned to the room hours later, he said all the cash was gone.
Police are also investigating the alleged theft of cash from the Giving Tree Nursery on Church Folly Lane in St. George's.
The complainant said the cash was left on Friday evening in two separate envelopes in one of the classrooms and was found missing on Monday morning.
