Student stamps ready for colourful debut PHOTO

Christmas Commemorative Stamp issue tomorrow. The stamp issue is the result of an Island-wide student competition.

Students were asked to submit artwork based on their ideas of the celebration of Christmas in Bermuda. Ten-year-old Clare Critchley's picture of a lizard dancing was used for the 25-cent stamp.

"Welcoming Arms'' by 12-year-old Cameron Rowling was used for the 40 cent stamp and the first day cover design of a moongate was drawn by Ian Watkinson.
