Injured rider `stable'
collision with a car on Monday.
Police spokesperson Evelyn James Barnett said the accident took place on Ord Road in Paget, just east of the Train Track Lane and involved a motorcycle ridden by a Devonshire man and a Ford Laser driven by a 62-year-old Southampton woman.
The cycle was heading west on Ord Road and the eastbound car was turning right into Paget Primary School when the collision took place.
The rider remains listed in serious but stable condition in the ICU of the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with serious face and head injuries.
Mrs. James Barnett said the Southampton woman was not seriously injured.
Police investigations are continuing into the matter.
And Police also attended the scene of a three-car pile-up on Middle Road in Paget.
Mrs. James Barnett said the mishap involved a Mitsubishi driven by a 35-year-old Pembroke woman, a Ford hatchback driven by a 44-year-old Pembroke woman and a Mazda driven by a 43-year-old Warwick woman.
All three cars were travelling west on Middle Road when two of them stopped for traffic near the Paget gas station.
Mrs. James Barnett said the third car was unable to stop, resulting in the collision occurred.
