Money for Featherbed Alley
of Featherbed Alley in St. George's.
The money will be used to place decorative paving stones on the historically significant street.
President of the St. George's Rotary Club Larry Jacobs said: "The club is proud to contribute to the restoration of Featherbed Alley.
"Featherbed Alley is one of the more historically important streets in St.
George's,'' he added.
The St. George's Foundation is the organisation responsible for implementing the St. George's Town Heritage plan.
Foundation Chairman Louis Mowbray said: "The Foundation appreciates the contribution made by the Rotary Club.
"Community support of this kind is vitally important for the restoration of St. George's and the Rotary Club is setting the pace for the rest of the town.'' For The Old Town: Mr. Larry Jacobs, president of the St. George's Rotary Club, presents a cheque worth $3,000 to Mr. Louis Mowbray, chairman of the St.
George's Foundation. The money will go to the restoration of Featherbed Alley.
