Parks assistant director Mr. William Cook, plants a tree at John Smith's Bay Park yesterday to commemorate Earth Day today. The park, which is being developed after expansion through Government property acquisition last year, is having a ramp for the physically handicapped installed. "This is the first step by the Ministry to make the parks more accessible to the handicapped,'' the Minister said. "In this instance, the ramp provides access to the beach and the ocean.''
