Elbow Beach has applied for planning permission for a new conference centre, entryway, parking, tennis courts, 29 extra housing units, 65 junior suites and one master suite.

It also wants to convert an internal room to an office, staff accommodation, service area and access improvements and a sewage treatment plant. The objection relates to the junior suites and concerns over the possible impact on dunes in the area.

The closing date for objections to the plan is on Friday.
