At 6 p.m. yesterday the storm was moving at a speed of 15 knots packing winds of some 50 knots with gusts to 60 knots.

"She was about 210 nautical miles to the northwest,'' a Bermuda weather services spokesman said. "And she's moving to the northeast at about 15 knots.'' At noon yesterday the tropical storm watch that was in effect for Bermuda had been discontinued.
