The decline was led by Belco Holdings, which fell $2 to $21 on a volume of 18,078, an 8.7 percent loss on the day. Also trading lower was Bermuda Home, which fell 25 cents to $10.50 on trading of 610 shares.

The only gainer for the day was Bermuda Computer Services Ltd., up 50 cents to $13 on trading of 3,718.

Other trading issues closed the day at the same price they opened. They were Bank of Bermuda (2,762 shares) at $30.50, Bank of Butterfield (52) at $16.50 and BF&M Conv. Cum. Red. Pref. (5,000) at $10.

Stevedoring Services Ltd. has declared a 10 cent per share dividend, payable September 30 to shareholders of record September 15.

Bermuda Computer Services Ltd. declared a 25 cent per share dividend, payable October 15 to shareholders of record September 30.
