Due to the popularity of the inaugural Police Night School Scheme the Police Service is offering a second course commencing on October 15.
The course -- to be held at the Police Training School at Prospect, Devonshire -- will consist of seven evening sessions running from 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on Tuesday nights.
The programme will examine topics such as recruiting and training, traffic and cycle squad, scenes of crime, narcotics, juvenile crime, Bermuda Reserve Police, parish Constables, prosecutions department, and CID.
The final session will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, and will consist of an open forum with Police Commissioner Colin Coxall.
The course is offered free of charge and should interest those considering a career in the Service as well as members of the public who are curious about the activities and functions of the Police.
Space is limited to 35 participants and early registration is strongly recommended.
Registration forms are available at Police Headquarters and all stations.
