Charles Jeffers stressed he was not criticising the selected members of the Bermuda Land Development Company, but said a few more older heads could have been picked.

"I do not want to give the impression that I am knocking the young people,'' said Mr. Jeffers.

"But I believe that Bermuda would have been better served by having a few older people on the board who have been through some things, who have some experience as well as qualifications and business,'' he added.

Government introduced the Board of Directors of the Bermuda Land Development Company earlier this week. The members are predominantly young.
