Commonwealth Finance Ministers Conference.
Delegates of some 50 countries will arrive in Bermuda next September for the annual conference that provides a forum for Finance Ministers from various Commonwealth jurisdictions to discuss areas of mutual concern.
This year's event was held in Jamaica when Bermuda was represented by Minister of Finance the Hon. Grant Gibbons and Financial Secretary Mr. Peter Hardy.
About 300 people participated.
The high level gathering always involves senior Government executives responsible for the various countries' financial affairs, together with their political task masters.
It is expected that the Premier, the Hon. David Saul, will be called upon to open the event.
