announced today that the defamation action commenced by Dr. Beinhocker and Mr.

Plunkett against the newspaper in the United States District Court in Boston, Massachusetts has been dismissed by the stipulation of all parties. In connection with this dismissal, The Royal Gazette states that in none of the articles which it has published did it state that either Dr. Beinhocker or Mr.

Plunkett had been found in any judicial proceeding referred to in those articles to have committed any fraud in their business dealings. The reports related to allegations in civil suits made by former business associates; Dr.

Beinhocker and Mr. Plunkett have disputed those allegations; and none of the suits have gone to trial or resulted in any final judgments.
