Patricia O'Connell of Manhattan, New York rolled a perfect 300 in the Annual Bermuda Rendezvous tournament on Sunday.
The historical achievement smashed two long-standing Island records.
O'Connell became the first woman to score 300 since the opening of Warwick Lanes in 1961 and the first competitor to score 300 in the 19 years of the Rendezvous event.
It was also a personal first for the ten-year bowler and mother of three daughters.
O'Connell had been treated to her first Bermuda tournament by fellow bowlers John Baumgardner and Carlos Alvarez.
"I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them,'' she said, "but I'd love to come back.'' Patricia O'Connell
