Clubs urged to attend Leadership Symposium
Symposium this Saturday.
Bermuda Football Association have invited two representatives from each of their affiliates, plus one from each Commercial League side to join in the all-day discussion with the BFA executive at Bermuda College.
On the agenda are off-the-field issues, split up into four sections -- management, football development, marketing and finance.
A BFA press release sent out yesterday read: "It is apparent by the challenges of violence, drugs and other social ills that the development of football can no longer be isolated to development of play on the field.
"The association and its affiliates must now address the development of life skills for its members. Life skills must be equated with football skills, management skills and marketing opportunities.'' The symposium will start with words from BFA president Neville Tyrrell at 9.00 a.m. and end with closing remarks from 3.30 p.m.
The deadline to register for the symposium is today.
