Dandy Town 0 (4)Devonshire Cougars booked their ticket to the Dudley Eve final with a 5-4 penalty shootout win over Dandy Town Hornets at Somerset Cricket Club last night.

It was Ricardo Brangman who was the hero for Cougars with the goalkeeper making two saves in the shootout to seal the win.

Cougars created enough chances to take the lead in the first half, but were wasteful in the attacking third when the finishing touch was required.

Town also had their keeper, Treadwell Gibbons jr., to thank for keeping the scores level.

The first real scoring chance came midway through the second half when Cougars skipper Domico Coddington was bought down in the box by Gibbons.

Moses Steede, however, put the penalty wide of the mark.

Gibbons then made two smart saves from Tumani Steede and Lejuan Simmons to keep the score goalless before Lashun Dill pushed his header from over the bar with the goal at his mercy.

PHC 0 North Village 1A late Pierre Smith strike was enough to put defending champions North Village through to the Dudley Eve final.

It wasn't until Smith's strike in the 80th minute that matters were settled when the striker ended a neat move between several team-mates and slammed home a thunderous strike.

Village will now face Cougars in the Dudley Eve final.
