Nicholas John West of Stokes Point Road, St. George's was observed by Police at 3.56 a.m. on September 14 swerving from one side of the road to the other near junction of Par-la-Ville Road and Church Street, Hamilton.

Crown counsel Leighton Rochester said West, who was driving a private car, almost collided with an oncoming vehicle.

West told Police he only had a few drinks when he was stopped.

He refused to give a sample of breath to Police after his arrest.
