insurance companies, is holding a `Captive Insurance Accounting' seminar at the Princess Hotel, Pembroke, on October 6.

The seminar is targeted at captive management staff, reinsurance intermediaries, auditors and accountants, lawyers, bankers, consultants and students studying for professional qualifications.

Topics to be covered will include an overview of captive companies, insurance transactions, Bermuda Insurance Act requirements, the role and preparation of statutory financial returns and the calculation of ratios.

The seminar's directors will be Mr. David Sykes and Mr. Dab Koshowski.
