Marine task forces to be formed
in Bermuda will be formed at a meeting at Bermuda Industrial Union headquarters tomorrow.
Announcing the meeting, Environment Minister Arthur Hodgson told the House of Assembly: "One of the main goals of the meeting is to assemble individuals prepared to work on a number of task forces which will be established to address specific areas of concern raised in the Green Paper.
"I expect to appoint working groups to deal with such matters as commercial fisheries, environmental impacts, resource management and recreational facilities.
"I anticipate each group will be chaired by a member of the Ministry's Marine Resources Board.'' He said anyone interested in taking part but unable to attend the meeting should call the Director of Agriculture and Fisheries on 236-4201 to register.
