Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Sherwin Lyle Waite, 20, pleaded guilty to possessing the 4.6 millimetre 1.77 calibre handgun.

Police searched his Alexandra Road home around 6.00 p.m. on December 10. Waite admitted he had the BB gun which he took out of a closet. The bullets were in a drawer.

Waite told Police he was fascinated with the gun but he apologised to the court and his family for the offence.
