Vaughn Winslow Stovell, of Smith's Hill Road, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to driving while disqualified.

Police stopped Stovell between St. David's Road and Emily's Bay Lane shortly after 3.30 a.m. on April 4, the court heard.

They subsequently discovered that Stovell was disqualified from driving until November 30 because of a speeding offence.

Stovell was taken off the road for another 18 months or until May 30, 1995. He was also ordered to pay a $350 fine.
