Docksiders A Canadian warship sailed out of Bermuda yesterday after calling at the Island for repairs to be carried out.

HMCS Halifax arrived in Dockyard on Sunday, and stayed for two days before continuing her journey at 8 a.m. yesterday.

And Container Ship Management said three new cars, one truck and seven trailers also arrived on the Island on Sunday on board the Oleander container ship. It was carrying 127 dry containers and 34 refrigerated boxes and left yesterday.

Meyer Agencies reported that Somers Isle container ship also came in on Sunday, leaving the following day, carrying 100 containers, ten of which were refrigerated, and numerous bundles of steel and lumber.

Tomorrow the Bermuda Islander is due in with 120 containers, 25 of them refrigerated. She is set to leave the following day.

And the two cable ships, the Danica Red and Skandi Hav , based at Penno's Wharf, in St. George's, which have been on the Island for about a month, have decided to stay over the Christmas holidays.
