A good week for visitor arrivals

from Savannah, Georgia, last weekend with 1,660 passengers. She is due to make a return trip this Friday.

And St. George's saw the New York-bound 174-foot luxury yacht Little Sis which arrived last Thursday from the Azores.

St. George's also saw Horizon arrive from New York on Monday with 1,533 passengers who moved to Hamilton yesterday.

The Columbus Day holiday boosted numbers on the Norwegian Majesty which arrived in the East End yesterday with 1,541 passengers - up from last week's figure of 1,487.

A day earlier Zenith arrived in the capital with 1,386 passengers. On Sunday the Somers Isles arrived with 94 containers including four refrigerated containers.

The Oleander also arrived on Sunday with its cargo of 120 dry containers, 39 refrigerated containers, six trailers and 22 cars. And tomorrow the Bermuda Islander will arrive with 104 containers including 23 refrigerated containers and two horse boxes containing seven horses.

Dockyard berthed the Wave Sentinel which came in yesterday with cable laying equipment from Halifax which it is expected to transfer to another ship.

Not so little: The luxury yacht Little Sis arrived on the island for a brief visit this week.
