Cruising Associaiton's Summer Series races on Sunday.

Nine boats started but with only light northeast winds behind them, the fleet struggled to make the first two marks, prompting the race committee to shorten the course to 9.4 miles.

Two boats -- Mtoto Two and Connemara -- withdrew because of the lack of wind, leaving Penny Simmons' High Engergy to cross the finish line first.

Taxi , skippered by Derek Ratteray, returned to action after a long break to finish second, some two minutes behind. Pedestrian , with Bill Riker at the helm, was third.

TRIATHLON TRI The Gibbons Ironkids Triathlon, which was postponed on the weekend because of the bad weather, has been rescheduled for June 21 at Clearwater Beach, starting at 9.30 a.m.

Entries have also been re-opened with the deadline extended to next Tuesday at 5.00 p.m. Forms should be returned to the Children's Department at Gibbons Company.
