Decision soon on future of Bermuda Grace

future any day now.

Producer Miss Christabel Albery said the project was in the hands of network bosses on both sides of the Atlantic.

Schedule planners from Britain's ITV network and America's NBC were examining the finished pilot movie filmed on the Island earlier this year.

"It's all finished and it's been sent to all the decision makers,'' she said.

"We could hear any time, but at this minute it's still undecided.'' "Bermuda Grace'' was backed by tourism officials and involved many locals in small parts. It is planned as a major TV detective series with appeal to both British and North American viewers.

The completed pilot film was sent to schedule planners two weeks ago, said Miss Albery.

Screening of the pilot would depend on whether the go-ahead is given to make a series, she said.

"If they make it a series they'll make the film the first episode. If not, they'll run it on its own. It all hangs on that decision.'' If a decision came soon then the film could still make it to the screen in October as originally planned, she said.
