The owner, Mr. John Roach said he was unable to expand on his plans for the former Shutters Restaurant, but would be able to confirm details in a month.

Sources have said it is possible the restaurant will become part of the popular US chain.

"I have fixed plans to change the restaurant, but no fixed plans about what it will become,'' said Mr. Roach.

"When a place is closed down, all options are explored,'' he said. Mr. Roach has just returned from overseas, where he was investigating options for the restaurant.
