$999 worth of cash and jewellery from six visitors while they were staying at the hotel.

Orlando Vaughn Crane, of St. George's, had his sentence postponed pending the outcome of a social inquiry report.

Nineteen-year-old Crane will be sentenced in Magistrates' Court on October 21.

Sgt. Peter Giles, prosecuting, told the court that Crane entered the visitors' rooms using a master key and helped himself to the money on six different occasions.

He admitted taking the money and said he used it to buy parts for his motorbike as well as clothes.

Sgt. Giles told the court that Crane entered Shannon Walker's room some time between August 15 and 20 and stole $80.

Around the same time he entered another room and stole $30 and a 14-carat gold chain owned by Gerald Monroe.

On August 18, he stole $75 belonging to Linda Maddaluno and on August 22 he stole $190 from Jamie Musgrove.

Crane then stole $74 belonging to Ronald Gould and $300 from Chinatsu Kiode on August 25.

In his statement to Police, Crane apologised for his actions. Sgt. Giles said all the money had been repaid.
