A Harbour Radio spokesman said the replica of Columbus' other ship, the Nina , was unable to make it.

The ships arrived here from Exuma Island in the Bahamas and are on the way to the Azores and then onto the United Kingdom.

The replica of the Pinta is called Carrie and the replica of the Santa Maria, Phoenix .
