The scholarships will be for study and training at Rutgers Summer School and Drug Studies between June 18 and 30.
Rutgers University Summer school of Alcohol and Drug Studies was founded at Yale University in 1943 and was known nationally and internationally as a leader in the training and development in this field.
According to CADA, the school enrols a diverse group of students from all over the world.
"This diversity makes the informal interaction among the members of each year's student body a unique and valued experience,'' it said.
The emphasis in the school's curriculum is on specialised courses, "led by highly competent and experienced instructors.
"CADA believes in the strategic development of professionals and volunteers,'' CADA chairman Mr. Cole Simons said. "Wanting to do good is not good enough in today's reality.
"We are committed to developing Bermuda's human resources and we feel these scholarships will have a significant impact in our community.'' The deadline for applications to Rutgers University Summer School is next Tuesday.
