The first incident happened around 9.30 p.m. on South Shore Road in Smith's Parish when a man rode up behind a 28-year-old American visitor and took her handbag from the rear basket of her bike.

At around 10 p.m., an 18-year-old English visitor had her pink bag snatched from her shoulder by a passing motorist as she was walking along Rosemont Avenue in Pembroke with her father.
