The team - Christine Mayor, Christie Hunter, captain Ruth O'Kelly Lynch, vice captain Kahlilah Robinson and Eli Lipschultz - have two other debates today which could see them reach the final eight knockout stage tonight.
Debate Society President John Barritt MP said yesterday: "We have done well.
I got roped into judging, but their debates that I have seen they have done Bermuda proud.
"We have a reputation that is being enhanced. We are performing really well in a competitive situation.''
