Lorenzo Robinson, 19, admitted stealing $297 from Aaron Trott of St. George's.

The incident took place on February 12 in Mr. Trott's home.

Police at the Cruise Terminal at Penno's Wharf saw Robinson overboard with a bleeding laceration to his mouth.

Asked why he was in the sea, Robinson revealed that he had been in a fight after stealing some money.

Officers arrested Robinson and took him to the Police Station where he said: "I will tell you everything.'' Robinson is unemployed and has no fixed abode. His lawyer, Elisabeth Christopher, asked for the sentencing to be delayed as she tried to hammer out an arrangement with the Bermuda Regiment. She did not give details of the arrangement.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis agreed to wait and rescheduled sentencing to April.
