Girl Guides activities
with an International Girl Guide Camp at Clearwater Beach in St. David's.
In addition to enjoying the beautiful scenery, the Girl Guides will learn about different cultures and traditions, enjoy various water sports and even try their hand at karaoke.
Here is a sample of some of the things that will keep the young ladies busy during the 1999 International Girl Guide Camp: July 3: Opening ceremony at Bernard Park. The public is invited to attend; July 5 and 6: Land and sea activities; July 7: International day at Clearwater Beach. The public is invited to attend; July 8: Karaoke evening; July 10: Cultural Day to be held at the Kindley Community Playing Field. The public is invited to attend; and July 11: Grand finale parade and service.

International Girl Guides will once again return to the Island this weekend to mark the association's 80th anniversary.
Making new friends: A whole new generation of local Girl Guides will have the chance to forge new friendships with guides from around the world as these two unidentified girl guides did 30 years ago during Bermuda's first International Camp at Ferry Reach.
