after losing control of his car and hitting a wooden railing on North Shore Road near the incinerator at Tyne's Bay.

The front bumper, fender and bonnet of the Hyundai saloon were damaged but no other vehicles were involved in the accident which occurred just after 3 a.m.

The driver was not injured and was released on bail.
