Heritage Month puts focus on the individual

The Ministry of Community and Cultural Affairs presents Heritage Month Exhibition '98, highlighting the chosen theme for this year -- Unity through Diversity.

The individual is the focus for the month of May, and people from many walks of life are portrayed in our current times.

A large scale ferry exhibit demonstrates that people's lives are truly dependent on one another.

The show attempts to expose the viewpoint and interests of local people in general, provide a forum to discuss different points of view, and reveal how they fit into the whole that is our Island community.

*** Harbour Nights begins again this Wednesday -- when Front Street is closed down and vendors with their arts crafts and food take over the street. From 6.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. people can wonder through town and also take advantage of late night shopping and the different entertainment. The evening is organised by the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Bank of Bermuda. For more information 295-4201.
