BUEI lecture to reveal research behind dive suit
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute proudly presents the ocean explorers lecture series "Deep Diving and The Newtsuit'' with Phil Nuytten on Friday, June 26.
The inventor of the Newtsuit will reveal some of the challenges and research that he did to develop this successful, revolutionary suit for use in deep dives.
Doors open at 6.30 p.m., lecture starts at 7 p.m. BUEI members $7.50, non-members $10, active volunteers free.

La Coquille will also offer a buffet supper in the main lobby after the lecture at $22 per person.
*** The Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard presents an advanced/follow-up chalk pastel painting workshop with Karen Kulyk.
From Wednesday June 24 to Friday June 26 students who did the beginners course can continue with a slide talk followed by first site painting with the tutor working with each student.
The second day starts with discussion/critique on accomplishments so far -- then proceed to finish work.
The third day will be made available for those who want to finish their work.
Cost $90 for three days, members, $105 for non-members, additional day $30 member, additional day $35 non-member.
