470 pari in fine form
continue to impress over on the European continent.
Competing at the prestigious Kiel Week Regatta in Germany, the duo lie 10th out of 65 boats after the first day of sailing.
In winds gusting from 15 to 20 knots, Walker and DeSilva had a good start and were fifth at the first mark. But they could not maintain this position and had to settle for 10th.
The pair have been off the Island since mid-April taking part in a series of regattas throughout the continent, which have served as ideal build-up for their Olympic challenge.
The Kiel meet will be the pair's last major tune-up event before the Games, which open on July 25.
In between they travelled to Cadiz, Spain, for European Championships before heading to Medimblik, Holland, for the Spa Olympic Regatta.
While DeSilva is due to return to the Island following this regatta, Walker will accompany the coach of the Brazilian team to Norway where he will make necessary adjustments to the boat.
