CABLE & Wireless workers are considering strike action, employees citing issues with company boss Eddie Saints' management style.

The Mid-Ocean News understands that intention has been filed with the Bermuda Public Services Union. The official 21-day notice of such action required of all essential services, is expected to be presented to the telecommunications company sometime next week.

"They've got some real issues with Mr. Saints," a source told this newspaper. "They're upset with the annual leave, with salaries, with the health and safety scheme, with forced resignations, with the incentive scheme."

The source said a meeting will be held early next week after which official notice would be handed to company management.
