Cabbies gear up for protest

injured colleague Warrington (Soup) Zuill when his three alleged attackers make their first appearance.

The cabbies are hoping to pack the courtroom and have others circling around the building between 10 and 11 a.m. when the suspects are expected to appear.

Mr. Zuill, 68, was badly beaten and robbed by three men he picked up outside the Tio Pepe Restaurant in Southampton eleven days ago.

A taxi driver told The Royal Gazette last night: "We want as many to turn out as possible as a show of support for Mr. Zuill and to show we are fed up being attacked.''
