Bag snatched Police are hunting a motorcyclist who stole a purse from a visiting couple on South Road, Smith's, on Sunday.

The couple were riding towards Hamilton at noon when they noticed a male rider approaching from behind.

The thief reached into a bag in the rear basket and stole the woman's purse before speeding off.

In a separate incident, a thief broke into a house in Club Road, Smith's, sometime on Sunday and stole a video recorder.

MAN IN CRASH AC Man in crash A motorcyclist was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital on Sunday night following a crash with a car.

The motorcyclist was travelling east on Middle Road, Warwick, near Riddell's Bay, at 8.45 p.m. when he collided with a car travelling in the opposite direction.

The male motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance and kept overnight for observation.

BLOODY NOSE CRM Bloody nose A Warwick man suffered a severe bleeding nose when he was struck on the face during an argument on Sunday afternoon.

The attacker allegedly assaulted three men on two visits to the house on Spring Hill Road, Warwick, between 4 p.m. and 4.15 p.m.

Western CID are continuing their inquiries.

VISITORS ROBBED CRM Visitors robbed Two visitors to the Elbow Beach on Friday afternoon were targeted by a culprit who stole a black duffel bag containing various personal items, including cash and jewellry.

The incident occurred between 1.30 and 1.45 in the afternoon.

A male visitor enjoying Horseshoe beach on Friday afternoon had his wallet stolen from under his locked auxiliary cycle seat around 3 p.m.

The man returned to his bike after an hour and a half later to find his wallet containing cash and other personal items gone.

Cash, jewellry and other personal items were stolen from a guest room at the St. George's Club overnight Saturday.
